On 13th January 2023, Colonel Saranyu Wiriyawetchakun, the Deputy Director of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA) discussed with Mr. Thaworn Chalakjian, the Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries and the President of the Human Capacity Building Institute. The responsible managers and officers also joined the discussions at the Federation of Thai Industries. Both parties discussed about the cooperation for the economic developments between Thailand and Bhutan in order to plan the potential projects between NEDA and Bhutan regarding the qualitative data and experiences of the Federation of Thai Industries about economic and industrial developments, the fields that the Thai private sector had experiences in, and the beneficial suggestions for planning the potential projects in order to enable NEDA to cooperate with Bhutan appropriately and to provide benefits for gaining commercial and investment opportunities between Thailand and Bhutan in the future.
