On 28 May 2025, Colonel (Ret.) Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., Vice President of NEDA, was invited as a guest speaker at an academic seminar marking the 150th anniversary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The event was organized by the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) at Narathip Room, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, under the theme “Thailand’s Development Cooperation in Achieving Sustainable Development Goal 17 – Partnerships for the Goals.”
The Vice President of NEDA presented the agency’s roles and missions in development cooperation, particularly financial cooperation through concessional loan mechanisms to support Asian countries in achieving Sustainable Development Goal 17. He also emphasized NEDA’s achievements, challenges, opportunities, and future directions, highlighting the importance of integrated collaboration among public, private, and civil society sectors so that Thailand’s development cooperation efforts can genuinely fulfill the Sustainable Development Goals.
