PATHUM THANI, 20 JULY 2026— Colonel (Ret.) Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., Vice President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) (NEDA), in his capacity as Vice Chairman of the Sub-committee on Driving Volunteer Operations to Develop Citizens' Quality of Life for Happiness, together with Mr. Kirati Veruwan, Vice President, led the NEDA volunteer delegation to organize a volunteer activity titled "The Cattle and Buffalo Release Ceremony to Dedicate as a Royal Merit" to honor His Majesty the King on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty's 74th Birthday Anniversary on 28 July 2026. The delegation jointly rescued two female cattle and buffaloes at P. Bangkok Farm Company Limited, Pathum Thani Province, on 20 July 2026.
On this occasion, NEDA handed over the said cattle and buffaloes to the Pathum Thani Provincial Livestock Development Office to be entered into the Royal-initiated Cattle and Buffalo Bank for Farmers Project. Mr. Purit Aorkoonsawat, Senior Professional Level Veterinarian, acting on behalf of the Pathum Thani Provincial Livestock Official, served as the recipient to further extend assistance to farmers in accordance with the regulations and criteria of the project, thereby helping to alleviate poverty, generate income, and sustainably elevate the quality of life for farmers moving forward.
