NEDA attended Annual Meeting Plenary 2023 in Marrakech, Kingdom of Morocco.

          Mr. Peeramet Wutthithornnetirak, Director of the Neighboring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA) and Mr. Keerati Weruwan, Deputy Director of the Annual Meeting Plenary 2023 It is a general meeting attended by the Governors of the World Bank and the Governors of the International Monetary Fund of each member country. The meeting focused on ways to address world poverty and activities to respond to challenges, be it pandemics or social equality including support for Sustainable Development (SDG) by Annual Meetings Chairman, Sergii Marchenko, Minister of Finance of Ukraine, World Bank President Ajay Banga, and Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Kristalina Georgieva on October 13, 2023 at GHARB QUARTER Room: GB01 Koutoubia Annual Meeting Plenary 2023

On April 3, 2024, Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), and his delegation visited Mr. Jin Liqun, President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Beijing, People’’s Republic of China. The visit, at the invitation of the AIIB, aimed to discuss collaborative approaches for financial assistance in developing infrastructure within the Mekong sub-region and to exchange visions for infrastructure development in the area.
