On 12 June 2025, Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of NEDA, in his capacity as Chair of the Subcommittee on the Volunteer Spirit for Quality of Life and Public Happiness, along with Colonel (Ret.) Dr. Saranyu Viriyavejakul, Vice President of NEDA and Deputy Chair of the Subcommittee, led NEDA volunteers in a public service tree-planting event in honor of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana, Queen of Thailand, on the auspicious occasion of her birthday anniversary on 3 June 2025.
The event took place at Mangrove Resources Research Center 2, Samut Sakhon Province, where the volunteers were warmly welcomed by Ms. Chalathip Chanchompoo, Chief of the Marine and Coastal Resources Research Center for the Eastern Coast of the Gulf of Thailand. She delivered an informative session on mangrove ecosystem conservation and environmental protection. Activities included mangrove tree planting and coastal clean-up efforts. The event aimed to express loyalty and gratitude for Her Majesty's royal grace, while also fostering environmental awareness and responsibility for national natural resource conservation.
