            Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of Neighburing Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Peng Ponea, Minister of Public Works and Transport (MPWT), Kingdom of Cambodia on 2 November 2023. It was to introduce the organization and discuss issues of cooperation in infrastructure management between Cambodia and Thailand on the occasion of the Minister's new appointment. On this occasion, NEDA President and H.E. Mr. Sokhom Pheakvanmony, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport discussed preparations in carrying out the project to develop the Construction of Stung Bot Border Crossing Facilities (BCF) and Access Road to National Road No. 5 Project, Phase 2, as well as cooperation in other projects between MPWT and NEDA.

On April 3, 2024, Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), and his delegation visited Mr. Jin Liqun, President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Beijing, People’’s Republic of China. The visit, at the invitation of the AIIB, aimed to discuss collaborative approaches for financial assistance in developing infrastructure within the Mekong sub-region and to exchange visions for infrastructure development in the area.
