Director of the Office of Policy and Planning gave an interview to evaluate JICA’s ODA performance.

                   On Monday, August 21, 2023, the advisory team from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan (MOFA) interviewed Mr. Rapipit Promnarath, Director of the Policy and Planning Office to evaluate Official Development Assistance: ODA of Japan. The Director of the Policy and Planning Office gave information about directions and achievements for ODA of NEDA as an agency that drives the mission of ODA in Thailand in Financial Assistance: FA, Technical Assistance: TA and Integration of operations with partner agencies both domestically and internationally. It includes guidelines for the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) at the bilateral and multilateral levels to jointly drive development in the Mekong subregion.

On April 3, 2024, Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), and his delegation visited Mr. Jin Liqun, President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Beijing, People’’s Republic of China. The visit, at the invitation of the AIIB, aimed to discuss collaborative approaches for financial assistance in developing infrastructure within the Mekong sub-region and to exchange visions for infrastructure development in the area.
