The NEDA Travels to Inspect Road No. 68 (NR68) with Representatives from MPWT Cambodia in Siem Reap Province, Kingdom of Cambodia

            Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA) led a group of executives and officials from the NEDA to survey Road No. 68, where the NEDA provided technical assistance to Cambodia to carry out the detailed design of the No. 68 road improvement project, Chong Chom/O Samed-Samrong-Klo Ranh, Kingdom of Cambodia (NR68 Project), with the total distance of approximately 120 kilometers from the starting point in Klo Ranh City to ending at the O Samet/Chong Chom border crossing, Surin Province, Thailand.

            On Dec. 19th, 2023, Cambodian Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) representatives collaborated with representatives from the company that conducted the design study.  Once completed, the route is expected to make it easier to travel and transfer commodities between the two borders. Furthermore, the project will boost the economy and tourism in both countries even further.
