Executive activities meet the media on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of the NEDA.

Mr. Phiramet Vuthithornnetirak, Director of Neighboring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), along with Professor Thongthong Chandrangsu, an expert member in the NEDA. and the management team held a press conference with the executives to meet the media on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of the NEDA by presenting the Financial Assistance: FA) and Technical Assistance: TA) with neighboring countries in the past 3-4 years. It includes determining the direction of long-term operations under the 20-year strategy of NEDA, including focusing on infrastructure development to support the connection in transportation, urban development and border special economic zones between Thailand and neighboring countries.

There are also projects underway and new projects that will encourage the Thai private sector to play a key role in contributing to the development of the region's economy, such as:

(1) Stung Bot Border Checkpoint Development Project and Road Linking to Road No. 5, Phase 1 (Loan amount 928.11 million baht, FA : Cambodia)

(2) Thai-Lao Railway Construction Project, Phase 2 (Thanaleng-Vientiane Line) Part 2 (Loan amount 1,650 million baht, FA: Lao PDR)

(3) Electricity system improvement project in Yangon (North Okkalapa Region and North Dagon Region) (Loan amount 1,458.25 million baht, FA : Myanmar) and

(4) Development Project of Route No. 12 (R12) Thakhek City - Na Pao border crossing (loan amount 1,833.747 million baht, FA: Lao PDR)
