NEDA Summarized the Stung Bot Permanent Checkpoint Development Project in the Occasion of the Prime Minister’s Visit in Sakaeo Province

               Colonel (Ret.) Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., Vice President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA) summarized the progress of the Stung Bot permanent checkpoint development and the construction of the road leading to the Road No. 5 in the Kingdom of Cambodia as well as presenting the link of the land transportation routes crossing Cambodia to Vietnam in the occasion that Mr.Srettha Thavisin, Prime Minister and Minister of Finance official visit to the construction area of the Nong Ian Customs Building in Sakaeo Province on 25th November 2023. The mentioned project is the cooperation with concessional lean for the Kingdom of Cambodia in order to construct the checkpoint building, the officers’ residences, the transporation station, the storage yards and the improvement of the sewage system in order to prevent floods with the budget of 862.28 million Baht, to  release traffic congestions and transportations at Ban Klong Luk – Poi Pet Checkpoint and to support the growth of international trades and investments. The progress of the construction is 99.56 percent. It is expected to be complete by 2023.
