NEDA held a bilateral meeting with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) during the 56th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank in Incheon, Republic of Korea.

On May 3, 2023, Colonel Saranyu Viriyavejkul, Deputy Director of Neighboring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), along with representatives consisting of Mr. Rapipit Prommanart, Director of the Policy and Planning Office, Ms. Chakriya Kathaleepan, senior policy and planning analyst and Ms. Monthicha Rakwijitkul, senior project analyst, attended a bilateral meeting with representatives from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), led by Mr. Winfried Wicklein, Director General, Southeast Asia Department (SERD) as well as Ms. Emma Veve, Senior Advisor, Office of the Director General of the Southeast Asia Department (SEOD), Mr. Anouj Mehta, Country Director, Thailand Resident Mission (TRM), Ms. Jyotsana Varma, Country Director, Cambodia Resident Mission (CARM) and Mr. Alfredo Perdiguero, Director, Regional Cooperation and Operations Coordination Division, Southeast Asia Department (SERC) in the name of 56th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank. The 26th Meeting of Ministers of Finance and Governors of ASEAN+3 Central Banks and Related Meetings in Incheon, Republic of Korea, held from 1-5 May 2023 to discuss cooperation on infrastructure development projects in Myanmar, including ADB's direction and policy on projects in Myanmar and cooperation on infrastructure development projects in the field of urban development in Cambodia. It is expected to operate in a parallel-financing model among NEDA, ADB, and Cambodia. In addition, the two parties discussed the implementation of projects for socio-economic development under the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Economic Cooperation Development Programme to promote cooperation between partners and to enhance the sub-region in the economic and social development of the countries of the Mekong Sub-region in a thorough, stable and sustainable way.
