On 19 May 2025, the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) (NEDA) organized a study visit for delegates from the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) and the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The delegates attended a briefing session on enhancing renewable energy security and participated in discussions on national renewable energy transition strategies. The session was hosted by the Electricity Policy Division of the Energy Policy and Planning Office (EPPO) in Bangkok, Thailand.
The study visit is scheduled to take place from 19 to 23 May 2025 in Bangkok, Khon Kaen, and Ubon Ratchathani. It aims to strengthen Cambodia’s knowledge of renewable energy development from policy formulation and planning to infrastructure management through best practices and knowledge transfer from both public and private sector agencies in Thailand.
