Col. Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., NEDA’s Vice President, as a head of Thai delegations, together with delegations from Department of Highways, Office of the National Economic and Social Development Board, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, had a meeting with Myanmar’s Ministry of Construction and related agencies regarding “Two-lane Road Connecting Dawei SEZ to Thailand-Myanmar Border Project” in technical and financial aspects during May 30-31, 2018 at Ministry of Construction, Myanmar.

On April 3, 2024, Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), and his delegation visited Mr. Jin Liqun, President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Beijing, People’’s Republic of China. The visit, at the invitation of the AIIB, aimed to discuss collaborative approaches for financial assistance in developing infrastructure within the Mekong sub-region and to exchange visions for infrastructure development in the area.
