NEDA held discussions with the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Cambodia in Marrakech, Kingdom of Morocco.

                Mr. Peeramet Wutthithornnetirak, Director of the Neighboring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA) and Mr. Keerati Weluwan, Deputy Director held a meeting to discuss with the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Cambodia. It was led by H.E. PEN Thirong, Under Secretary of State, Ministry of Economy and Finance, along with a delegation to discuss the possibility of arranging cooperation between Cambodia and NEDA in the future as well as following up on the status of ongoing and new projects, including problems and obstacles that may affect the projects, during the 2023 Annual Meeting of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund's Council of Governors on October 11, 2023 at the conference room AM 2023; BCCRs; C09-010, Marrakech, Kingdom of Morocco.

On April 3, 2024, Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), and his delegation visited Mr. Jin Liqun, President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Beijing, People’’s Republic of China. The visit, at the invitation of the AIIB, aimed to discuss collaborative approaches for financial assistance in developing infrastructure within the Mekong sub-region and to exchange visions for infrastructure development in the area.
