NEDA participates in the project titled “Convert Carbon into Oxygen”

At Chatuchak park on 4 th December 2019, Colonel Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., Vice
President of Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA)
participated in the project titled “Convert Carbon into Oxygen, Fulfill the Breath for
Community” led by Mr. Teerarat Pantarasutra, managing director and Mr. Alex Lozy Kant,
Operations Chief Executive Officer, Symphony Communication Co., Ltd. and Singha Estate Co.,
Ltd. who see the importance of community care in Chatuchak area. The activities include waste
reduction, air pollution reduction with the campaign of not to use plastic bag, waste
classification and the use of environmentally-friendly containers and beverage. All income is the
contribution to purchase 32 sacred trees (Inthanin, Tree Jasmine and Ratchaphruek) which will
be planted in Chatuchak area to increase Oxygen in the community and to get together to good
things for His Majesty the King Maha Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, Boromarajbophit (King Rama
IX) as well as a remembrance of his kindness on the occasion of “Father’s Day”, 5 th December
every year.
