On 8 September 2025, Mr. Rapipit Promnart, Director of Policy and Planning Bureau, represented the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) (NEDA) in a meeting with Mr. Kenji Kuronuma, Chief Representative of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Sri Lanka Office. The purpose of the meeting was to present the Country Strategy 2026–2030. Both parties discussed approaches for advancing Official Development Assistance (ODA) cooperation in Sri Lanka, focusing on key areas such as economic development and human resource development. The discussion also included updates on the current economic situation in Sri Lanka and explored potential avenues for strengthening future collaboration between NEDA and JICA. The meeting took place in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
