Bangkok, Thailand — September 18, 2025 — Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) (NEDA) and Chairman of the Subcommittee on Volunteer Spirit for Enhancing Quality of Life, together with Colonel (Ret.) Saranyu Viriyavejakul, NEDA’s Vice President and Deputy Chairman of the Subcommittee, led NEDA volunteers in the activity “Thai Volunteers United to Develop Community Learning Centers.” The initiative was organized to honor the auspicious occasion of the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of His Majesty King Ananda Mahidol, Rama VIII, on September 20, 2025.
As part of the activity, the NEDA delegation paid homage to the Royal Monument of King Rama VIII, undertook landscape improvement works, and provided rice supplies to residents of the Ban Poon community. The event was held at Rama VIII Park in Bangkok.
