PATTAYA, February 9, 2026— Colonel (Ret.) Saranyu Viriyavejakul, Vice President and Acting Director of NEDA, honored the occasion by presiding over the opening ceremony of the training course on "Sustainable Tourism Development" at the Siam Bayshore Hotel Pattaya, Chonburi Province. This course aligns with NEDA’s Strategic Cooperation with Neighboring Countries (2026 - 2030) regarding sustainable tourism development. For this training iteration, a total of 15 officials from neighboring countries participated, representing 4 nations: the Lao People's Democratic Republic, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, the Kingdom of Bhutan, and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. This signifies another important step in strengthening relationships and building a cooperative network between NEDA and neighboring countries for the future.
