NEDA - AMRO Discusses Development Cooperation in the Lao PDR

On 10 March 2026, Dr. Thi Kim Cuc Nguyen, Mission Chief from the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO), together with her delegation, paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Kirati Veruwan, Vice President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) (NEDA). The meeting aimed to discuss and seek information on NEDA’s overall development cooperation policies, including its experience and challenges in implementing infrastructure development projects in the Lao PDR. The discussion will help support the monitoring and assessment of the Lao PDR’s economic situation, as well as promote more effective and sustainable development cooperation in the region. The meeting was held at Meeting Room 1, NEDA.

NEDA Participates in the 100-Day Merit-Making Ceremony Dedicated in Royal Merit to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother
Bangkok, 31 January 2026 – Mr. Kirati Veruwan, Vice President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) (NEDA), participated in the 100-day merit-making ceremony dedicated in royal merit to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, and was held at the 150th Anniversary Building, Ministry of Finance.
