The Office of the National Economic Development Cooperation with Neighboring Countries (Public Organization), or NEDA, has achieved outstanding performance in governance and transparency by receiving a score of 94.15 in the Integrity and Transparency Assessment (ITA) for the fiscal year 2025. This result places the organization in the “Good Pass” category, marking an improvement over the previous year’s assessment.
The high ITA score has propelled NEDA to rank 14th among public organizations nationwide, out of a total of 61 agencies. This achievement reflects the dedication of management and staff at all levels in collectively raising the standards of public sector operations to ensure transparency, accountability, and public participation.
The continuous improvement in scores stems from several factors, including comprehensive and easily accessible public information disclosure, fair and equitable treatment of all stakeholders, and the promotion of an organizational culture committed to integrity and good governance. NEDA has demonstrated that as a public organization, its role extends beyond facilitating economic development cooperation with neighboring countries. It also serves as a model for government agencies by adhering to the principles of good governance and social responsibility, thereby building public trust and supporting long-term international cooperation initiatives.
