NEDA Holds Flag Salute and National Anthem Ceremony on the Occasion of the 108th Anniversary of Thai National Flag Day

Bangkok, Thailand — September 29, 2025 — Colonel (Ret.) Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., Vice President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) (NEDA), led executives and staff in organizing a flag salute and singing of the Thai National Anthem to commemorate the 108th Anniversary of Thai National Flag Day.
During the ceremony, all participants stood in unison to pay respect to the national flag and sang the Thai National Anthem together, demonstrating pride in Thai identity and raising awareness of the significance of the national flag. The activity was held at the Sun Towers Building on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road.

On 8 September 2025, Mr. Rapipit Promnart, Director of Policy and Planning Bureau, represented the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) (NEDA) in a meeting with representatives from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Sri Lanka Resident Mission (SLRM). The purpose of the meeting was to present the Country Strategy 2026–2030. Both parties exchanged information on the implementation of Official Development Assistance (ODA) in Sri Lanka, as well as updates on the current economic situation in the country. The discussion also covered potential approaches for enhancing future cooperation between NEDA and ADB. The meeting took place in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Vientiane, Lao PDR, August 27, 2025 — Mr. Kirati Veruwan, Vice President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) (NEDA), led a delegation to meet with Ms. Phengkhiem Xayakeo, Deputy Director General of the International Finance and Cooperation Department (IFCD), Ministry of Finance, Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR). During the meeting, Mr. Kirati presented NEDA’s Midterm Plan I for 2026–2030 and the Country Strategy for 2026–2030, and the delegation exchanged views on the current economic landscape, future trends, and constructive suggestions.
