BANGKOK, MARCH 13, 2026 — Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) (NEDA), and Mr. Nakorn Tangavirapat, Director of the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) (NEDA) and the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) (TGO). The agreement aims to promote the development of knowledge and greenhouse gas management standards in neighboring countries, which will support operations under NEDA’s "Cross Border Environmental Impact Reduction" strategy. This ensures that various development cooperation projects are environmentally friendly and aligned with the Paris Agreement, as well as Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 13: Climate Action, which focuses on strengthening resilience and adaptive capacity to climate-related impacts, integrating climate change measures into national policies, and building awareness regarding climate change. Mr. Theeraj Athanavanich, Chairman of the Board, and Mr. Kawin Tangsupanich, Qualified Member for Energy, Board of Directors of the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO), honored the event by attending as witnesses to the signing at The Stair meeting room, 39th Floor, Sun Towers Building B, Bangkok.
