NEDA participates in the launch of Capacity Building for National Coordinators

On 18 March 2019 at Vithes Samosorn Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Senior Colonel Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., Vice President, Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA) and the representatives from Policy and Planning Bureau, participated in the launch of Capacity Building for National Coordinators of Mekong - Lancang Cooperation under the Mekong - Lancang special fund which is considered an activity to celebrate the 3th anniversary of the founding of Mekong - Lancang co-operation framework. The participants were from both private and government sectors, the diplomatic corps and the representatives from member countries of Mekong – Lancang as well as Thai and foreign journalists. Mekong - Lancang co-operation framework was firstly from Thai initiative in 2012 and officially established in March 2016 with the member countries as follows; Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Vietnam, Thailand and China. It aims to increase the capacity in competition and create economic growth as well as narrow the economic gap and support sustainable development of Khong River member countries.
