Sr. Col. Saranyu Viriyavejkul, Vice President and Mr. Rapipit Promnart, Director of Policy and Planning Bureau, visited Colombo, Sri Lanka, during June 6-9, 2018 in consultation with Government agency of Sri Lanka and Thailand for the drafting of new Country Strategy between NEDA and Sri Lanka (2019-2021).
On June 7-8, 2018, NEDA representative had a discussion with Permanent Secretary of Finance and Permanent Secretary of National Planning and Economy on the national socio-economic plan of Sri Lanka, direction of Infrastructure development and Sri Lanka’s prospective sectors that may cooperate with NEDA during 2019-2021. In addition, NEDA representative paid a courtesy call to the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Sri Lanka, to report the said discussion with all agencies as well as to exchange the view with Royal Thai Embassy regarding the new Country Strategy between NEDA and Sri Lanka.
