Colonel Saranyoo Wiriyawetchakun, the Deputy Director and the Vice President of Voluntary Group Empowerment Sub-Committees of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA) led the royal Thai volunteers to visit, restored the flooded area and helped the flood victims in Wat Mahat Thai School (Ponpramukwitthaya) in Ang Thong Province. Mr. Phaiboon Supphaboon, the Chief District Office of Mueang Ang Thong District, Mr. Watthana Sangchum, who was acting for the Director of Wat Mahat Thai School (Ponpramukwitthaya), the teachers and students welcomed and presented the Thai long drum dance that is an conserved identity of the people in Ang Thong. Then, the voluntary group improved the landscapes of the buildings of the schools, painted the canteen and playthings, restored the agricultural plots for the students’ lunches, and gave kitchenware and cleaning solutions on 31st January 2023.

Mr. Peeramet Wutthitthornnatirak, the Director and the Chairperson of the Sub-Committees Driving Volunteers, and Colonel Saranyoo Wiriyawetkul, the Deputy Director and the Deputy Chairperson of the Sub-Committees Driving Volunteers of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), led the royal volunteers to Moo 9 Community, Lad Bua Luang District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province in order to give the survival bags to over 200 families of the flood victims. Mr. Anuwat Sriwilai, the Deputy District Chief of Lad Bua Luang District, and Mr. Somkid Mangmee, the Village Head of Moo 9 Community welcomed and took the working group to help and cheer up the affected villagers on 24th November 2022.

Ms. Sukhuma Sarahong, Representative of the Subcommittee for Driving Volunteers to Improve Quality of Life for the happiness of people and the Office for Economic Development Cooperation with Neighboring Countries, led the royal volunteers to clean religious places under the "Volunteer Activities to Develop the Landscape of Wat Intharawihan". Also, pay respects to His Majesty Phra Sophonthamwong Dr. (Wasaka Panyaakko), the abbot of Wat Intharawihan and make merit by providing 9 monks for good fortune at Intharawihan Temple, Phra Aram Luang, on June 9, 2022

Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA) long with Colonel (Ret.) Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., Vice President led the management team for a donation of 100,000 Baht to King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Thai Red Cross Society to support the construction of new outpatient department building and prepare to support the increasing number of patients in the near future, under the project of “Medical and Public Health Integrating Center Construction Project, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital”. Mr. Khan Prachuabmoh, Director of Donation HUB, was a representative. NEDA’s Royal Thai volunteers also participated in blood donation in an activity called “Filling the Hearts” at National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society on 15th February 2022.

Colonel (Ret.) Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., Vice President of Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA) along with volunteer team helped to remove all donations, durable articles and educational equipment as a share of happiness to children to facilitate an education administration. It was also to develop their learning and teaching. The group was also there to welcome a donation recipient, Mr. Phubet Pinkaew, Deputy Director of Budget Management Division, Niyomsilp Anusorn School on Thursday 4th March 2021 at Sun Tower Building, Vibhavadi Rangsit Rd., Bangkok. Niyomsilp Anusorn School is considered a Large secondary school with 1,700 students, subordinated to the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 40, Wichian Buri District, Phetchabun Province.

Blankets for donation under “Join together, Share warmth” Project

Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, the President of Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency, along with Colonel Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc. and Mr. Kirati Veruwan, the Vice Presidents, filled the sharing pantry with consumer goods and first aid kit which is located in front of Pho Tech Tung Foundation, Phlapphla Chai Road Bangkok. It is in order to relieve the distress of the locals who are living under Covid-19 crisis. They have also produced and provided face shields to Fire and Rescue officers, volunteers and medical unit for their fieldwork including the locals. (1) Mr. Wichian Techapiboon, the committee chairman (2) Mr. Sak Khosangruang, the Audit Committee (3) Ms. Sirikul Opaswong, the Committee and Secretary-General (4) Ms. Jinda Boonlarptaveechoke, the Committee and Treasurer (5) Mr. Niphon Chokpiromwongsa, the committee and (6) Dr. Aram Iamsuntaree, the committee and the director of Huachiew TCM Clinic, acted as representatives to receive all supplies at Pho Tech Tung Foundation on 5th June 2020.

Colonel Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., the Vice President of Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency, cooperating with Singha Estate Co Ltd. and allied companies in Sun Tower building to provide equipment for medical professionals such as patient bed covers, N95 masks, rubber gloves, Face Shield, alcohol gel and drinking water. It is to encourage all physicians and medical professionals to get through Covid-19 crisis. Air Vice Marshal Thaweepong Pajaree, the director of Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital acted as a representative to receive such equipment at Khumklao Building, Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital, Directorate of Medical Services, Royal Thai Air Force on 19th May 2020.

Colonel Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., the Vice President of Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency along with NEDA personnel have voluntarily made and donated Face Shields to medical professionals and other workers in order to increasingly prevent the spread of Covid-19 virus. Mr. Pornlert Penpas, Assistant to Director of Chatuchak District Office acted as a representative to receive such equipment at Chatuchak District Office on 23rd April 2020.

Colonel Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., the Vice President of Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency participated in the “Stay side by side… Get through together” Project, led by Singha Estate Public Company Limited and allied companies in Sun Tower building, to provide equipment for medical professionals such as N95 masks, rubber gloves, Face Shield, alcohol gel and drinking water. Mr. Montien Pengsombat, M.D., the director of Pranangklao Hospital acted as a representative to receive such equipment at Pranangklao Hospital on 22nd April 2020.
