NEDA meets to discuss the development of the system to link data through ASEAN Single Window ASEAN Single Window

Mr. Kirati Veruwan, Vice President of NEDA, together with group of the officials
and the representatives from The Customs Department attended the meeting to
discuss about the process of requesting financial assistance for the development of
the system to link data through the ASEAN Single Window (ASW) with the
Department of International Finance and Debt Protection and the Department of Tax
and the Ministry of Finance, Lao People's Democratic Republic (Lao PDR). The
meeting aimed to discuss the next steps in requesting financial assistance for the
development of the system to link data through ASW at the Ministry of Finance, Laos
PDR on 31 October 2019.

On April 3, 2024, Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), and his delegation visited Mr. Jin Liqun, President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Beijing, People’’s Republic of China. The visit, at the invitation of the AIIB, aimed to discuss collaborative approaches for financial assistance in developing infrastructure within the Mekong sub-region and to exchange visions for infrastructure development in the area.
