Briefing meeting to clarify the project and hear people’s opinions

At One Stop Service Center (OSSC) meeting room, Dawei Special Economic Zone, Republic of the Union of Myanmar on 17th May 2019; Senior Colonel Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., Vice President of NEDA and others participated in 1st briefing meeting to clarify the project and hear people’s opinions (Project Orientation) about the survey and the detailed design of Two-Lane Road Improvement Project connecting Dawei Special Economic Zone and Thailand – Myanmar Border, with Mr. Hla Htwe, Minister of Regional Parliament, Dr. Myint San, Vice Chairman, Dawei Special Economic Management Committee (DSEZ MC) and the representative from Ministry of Construction, Republic of the Union of Myanmar; Mr. Thet Zaw Win, Director, Thanintharyi Region, Department of Highway. There were 120 people living in the area participated to express their opinions and present the guideline to solve the problems as well as encourage the public hearing to become successful toward all relevant parties in the future.
