The conference to discuss about data linking system development via ASEAN Single Window

At the office of Ministry of Finance, Lao PDR on31 July 2019;  Mr. Kirati Veruwan, Vice President of Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency and Mr. Soulivath Souvannachoumkham, Director-General of department of foreign finance and liability protection, Ministry of Finance as well as the representative from Tax department, Lao PDR participated in the conference to discuss about Terms of Reference (TOR) preparation in the aspects of financial support and data linking system development via ASEAN Single Window (ASW). The discussion was mainly about the system development guideline as well as the solutions to operation obstacles and problems, and Joint venture with Thailand.

NEDA Engages AIIB in Strategic Talks on Financial Support for Infrastructure in the Mekong Sub-region
On April 3, 2024, Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), and his delegation visited Mr. Jin Liqun, President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Beijing, People’’s Republic of China. The visit, at the invitation of the AIIB, aimed to discuss collaborative approaches for financial assistance in developing infrastructure within the Mekong sub-region and to exchange visions for infrastructure development in the area.
