NEDA Joined Panel Discussion with Association for Asian Studies

Colonel Dr. Saranyu Viriyavejakul Vice President of Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) (NEDA), was invited by East-West Center and Office of the National Security Council (NSC), Thailand to join a panel with Association for Asian Studies on “Taking Nature into Account: Can Valuing Nature and Conservation Promote Sustainable Models of Development in Asia?” where he introduced the work of NEDA to the audience.  Along with this, Dr.Saranyu, as NSC’s subject matter expert also joined meetings with National Defense University and East-West Center in Washington, D.C., during March 25-26 2018

NEDA Engages AIIB in Strategic Talks on Financial Support for Infrastructure in the Mekong Sub-region
On April 3, 2024, Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), and his delegation visited Mr. Jin Liqun, President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Beijing, People’’s Republic of China. The visit, at the invitation of the AIIB, aimed to discuss collaborative approaches for financial assistance in developing infrastructure within the Mekong sub-region and to exchange visions for infrastructure development in the area.
