NEDA surveys the Electrical System Improvement Project in Yangon

The committee of Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA) led by H.E. Mr. Jukr Boon-Long and Board of Directors of Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) (NEDA) including Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, the President of NEDA and Colonel Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., the Vice President surveyed the area of Electrical System Improvement Project in Yangon with Yangon Electricity Supply Corporation (YESC), Ministry of Electricity and Energy (MOEE) in North Okkalapa, Yangon, Republic of the Union of Myanmar during 23-25 February 2020. For such a project, Myanmar has accepted the Financial Assistance: FA from NEDA in order to improve electrical system in North Okkalapa to be more effective and be able to respond to the higher demand of electrical use due to Yangon’s economic growth. NEDA is now in the process of asking the cabinets for FA’s approval.
