NEDA Attended the Annual Meeting Plenary 2022

Mr. Peeramet Wutthitornnetirak, the Director of the Neighboring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency, and Mr. Keerati Weluwan, the Deputy Director, attended the Annual Meeting Plenary 2022, which is an important meeting that the directors of World Bank and international funds of countries attended. In the meeting, the globally economic situations were considered by Ms. Kristalina Georgieva, the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund. The development guidelines were provided by Mr. David Malpass, World Bank Group President on 14th October 2022 at the DAR Constitutional Hall in Washington D.C., the United States of America.

On April 3, 2024, Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), and his delegation visited Mr. Jin Liqun, President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Beijing, People’’s Republic of China. The visit, at the invitation of the AIIB, aimed to discuss collaborative approaches for financial assistance in developing infrastructure within the Mekong sub-region and to exchange visions for infrastructure development in the area.
