NEDA participates with Myanmar team to prepare for JCC

On 25 February 2019 at Ministry of Commerce, Naypyidaw, Republic of the Union of Myanmar; Senior Colonel Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., Vice President of Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) NEDA participated in the conference with Myanmar team to prepare for Joint Coordinating Committee Meeting for the Comprehensive Development in the Dawei special Economic Zone and Its Related Project Areas (JCC). Mrs.Pattama Teanravisitsagool, Deputy Secretary-General, Office of the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC) acted as a leader from Thailand and U Aung Soe, Permanent Secretary along with Dr. Myint San, Vice- President (of the DSEZMC Management Committee) and Dr.Tin Htoo Naing, Secretary to DSEZMC acted as the leaders from Myanmar.

On April 3, 2024, Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), and his delegation visited Mr. Jin Liqun, President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Beijing, People’’s Republic of China. The visit, at the invitation of the AIIB, aimed to discuss collaborative approaches for financial assistance in developing infrastructure within the Mekong sub-region and to exchange visions for infrastructure development in the area.
