The president of NEDA discusses with Wan Tong to summarize the project progress and prepare for 2019 press tour

At Muangthong Hotel on 31 May 2019, Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of NEDA, Mr. Kirati Veruwan, Vice President and other NEDA officers participated in the conference with Wan Tong Budta Wong, deputy director of Department of Highways, other officers from Department of Highways, consulting companies and project contractor company to summarize the progress of Hongsa City- Ban Chiangman (Chomphet, Luang Prabang, Lao PDR) road construction project which is nearly completed. The conference also aims to prepare for the support of the press tour to create a good relationship between Thailand and Laos.

On April 3, 2024, Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), and his delegation visited Mr. Jin Liqun, President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Beijing, People’’s Republic of China. The visit, at the invitation of the AIIB, aimed to discuss collaborative approaches for financial assistance in developing infrastructure within the Mekong sub-region and to exchange visions for infrastructure development in the area.
