NEDA attended the meeting to provide information on Country Strategy: CS during the years of 2022- 2027 and discuss (draft) Potential Pipeline Projects in Cambodia

           Between 22nd- 24th March 2022, Colonel (Ret.) Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., Vice President of Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA) and other representatives attended the meeting with organizations in Cambodia to provide information on Country Strategy: CS during the years of 2022- 2027 and discuss (draft) Potential Pipeline Projects in Cambodia, in accordance with CS. NEDA team met with H.E. Hem Vanndy, Secretary of State, Ministry of Economic and Finance and the representative from General Department of International Cooperation and Debt Management (GDICDM) to provide information on CS and discuss the aspect of Development Cooperation Project between NEDA and Cambodia during the years of 2022- 2027 under CS frame. Representatives from NEDA paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Panyarak Poolthup, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Kingdom of Cambodia, to provide information on CS and report progress of Financial Cooperation Project operation in Cambodia. This was for him to acknowledge opinions and suggestions about the operation in Cambodia. The visit was also to exchange the guidelines on public health development operation in Cambodia. Representatives from NEDA also met with Ms. Kamei Haruko, Chief Representative, JICA Cambodia Office, to discuss as well as exchange the information on Cambodia’s Public Health Development Project operating guidelines, and Development Cooperation Project cooperative operation in Cambodia.
