NEDA Talk in Uni

On 2nd April 2021 at Khon Kaen University, Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA) acted as a chairman to open the 1st “NEDA Talk in Uni” at Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Southeast Asian Studies, Khon Kaen University. Mr. Rapipit Promnart, Policy and Planning Bureau Director, delivered an academic lecture titled “Official Development Assistance in Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS)” in order to create awareness and understanding on NEDA’s role and mission. It was also to exchange opinions on the benefits which Thailand will receive from NEDA’s performance, and obstacles in NEDA’S operations.

NEDA Engages AIIB in Strategic Talks on Financial Support for Infrastructure in the Mekong Sub-region
On April 3, 2024, Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), and his delegation visited Mr. Jin Liqun, President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Beijing, People’’s Republic of China. The visit, at the invitation of the AIIB, aimed to discuss collaborative approaches for financial assistance in developing infrastructure within the Mekong sub-region and to exchange visions for infrastructure development in the area.
