Virtual Knowledge Sharing under the topic “ADB Virtual Knowledge Sharing on Default Risk Management” by Asian Development Bank

                       On 22nd March 2022, Asian Development Bank: ADB, Thailand Resident Mission, held a Virtual Knowledge Sharing online under the topic “ADB Virtual Knowledge Sharing on Default Risk Management” for management team and other officers of Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) (NEDA). The Virtual Knowledge Sharing was a part of Partnership Arrangement between ADB and NEDA. Mr. Peter Whelan, Senior Risk Management Specialist, Office of Risk Management and Mr. Aekapol Chongvilaivan, Senior Economist (Public Finance), Southeast Asia Regional Department, ADB were keynote speakers. This Knowledge Sharing aimed to exchange information about guidelines and format of Sovereign Default Risk within Developing Member Countries: DMCs under International Financial Institution: IFI such as World Bank, IMF and ADB, as well as risk assessment guidelines of solvency and risk prevention guidelines under the cooperation with IMF. As a result, NEDA could apply ADB’s Default Risk Management guidelines on NEDA’s Default Risk Management guidelines.
