NEDA Meets Ambassador of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic to Thailand

On 19 November 2021, Seng Soukhathivong, Ambassador of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to Thailand welcomed Peeramet Wuttitoranetrak and Colonel Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., President and Vice President of Neighboring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA) to a discussion on economic driving and cooperation between the two countries in the post-pandemic period as the COVID-19 pandemic was under control in many countries, and control of international travel. In this opportunity, NEDA handed advertisement media for road safety to reduce accident rate on Hongsa - Baan Chiang Man Road (Jompet, Luang Prabang), the Lao People's Democratic Republic at the Embassy of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

On April 3, 2024, Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), and his delegation visited Mr. Jin Liqun, President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Beijing, People’’s Republic of China. The visit, at the invitation of the AIIB, aimed to discuss collaborative approaches for financial assistance in developing infrastructure within the Mekong sub-region and to exchange visions for infrastructure development in the area.
