Mr. Peeramet Wutthithornnetirak, the Director of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA), and Mr. Keerati Weluwan, the Deputy Director, joined the ceremony to give the offerings in the New Year Festival in 2023 at the Ministry of Finance. Mr. Arkhom Termphittayaphaisit, the Minister for Finance, was the speaker in the ceremony. The managers of the organizations under the Ministry of Finance joined the ceremony at Wayuphak Hall 1 of the Ministry of Finance on 4th January 2023.

The visit, at the invitation of the AIIB, aimed to discuss collaborative approaches for financial assistance in developing infrastructure within the Mekong sub-region and to exchange visions for infrastructure development in the area.
