At Nan province on 25th June 2019, Mr. Perames Vudthitornetiraks, President of NEDA and Mr. Kirati Veruwan, Vice President along with other officials and press participated in Press Tour which to build the relationship between Thailand – Laos, along the route Nan - Luang Prabang. NEDA along with the press was warmly welcomed by Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Administration (Public Organization) or DASTA and also taken to visit and study the local handicraft by Ban Sao Luang textile handicraft group. On this occasion, there was also a meeting with government and private sectors in Nan province area, led by Nan Governor, Mr. Worakitti Sritipakorn; Chairman of Nan Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Srirung Rattanasila; Vice Chairman of Nan Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Panpat Picha; the representative of the chief immigration officer and other relevant officers who also provided a warm welcome and an opportunity for the press to question and interview. Later, the group went on to visit the important tourist attractions within Nan and exchange the ideas about Nan tourism with Mr. Satit Boontong, the president of Nan Tourism Business Association and Nan Tourism Council, as well as Acting Sub Lt. Panuwat Katnak, the director of Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and Mr. Cherdchu Tengtrirat, Vice Chairman of Nan Chamber of Commerce who provided useful tourism information to the press.
